SPELL TO EASE HURT ( By Crimson NIght )
First write a list of hurtful or painful things that have happened to you in the past. Cast a circle and light a yellow candle. Fold the paper in half and hold in your right hand throughout the spell. Speak aloud the following words;
I ask kindly of Our Lady fair, to help, in this time of despair. In this circle I have cast, break the chains of hurtful past. Thing's have happened that shouldn't be the pain and hurt, I demand to flee. From this day onward, hear my prayer. Blessed Be, Our Lady fair. From these chains, I WILL break free. From this day forth, so Mote It Be.
Repeat the last two lines three times. Each time, make a rip in the paper. Say the last two lines louder each time. From the flame of your candle, set alight to the paper, then leave to burn in a fireproof dish. When the paper has fully burnt, blow out the candle.
PLEASE NOTE
Many people believe that the term Warlock means a male witch. Among many Wiccans this title means one who has broken the faith, a practitioner of dark magic. Warlock comes from the term waerloga which means oath or faith breaker and a warlock was a person who told the inquisitors that others were witches, they were promised mercy if they told on them, but the judge who was sentencing left the ruling to another judge, and they died anyway.

THE BOOK OF SHADOWS
The Book of Shadows is a book of Spells, Meditations, and Information a witch keeps as a reference. ...Possibly similar to a Christian's Bible, if you stretch it. A witch writes whatever she/he pleases in it, and is usually used while casting spells.When a witch writes in the Book of Shadows, it should be neat enough and large enough to be read by candle light, and durable enough to handle the occasional spillage of potions and such. Most, if not every Wiccan, keeps a Book of Shadows. The Book of Shadows originated before the Burning Times. Witches held their meetings in secret, or "in the shadows", and usually a whole coven possessed one book. Another meaning suggested by the book Book of Shadows by Phyllis Curott is that the Sumerians created a book of invocations in the form of poetry and songs, and named it a Book of Shadows. She also defined it as a reference to a Witch's Journal, or a record of spiritual wisdom, a diary of invocations, spells, rituals and chants. Usually, a B.O.S is to be kept private. Traditionally, that is. Now, many witches share their works.

THE HORNED GOD
In Neo-pagan witchcraft, where emphasis is placed upon the Goddess, the Horned God or Cernunnous, is equally important he contributes the male part in the male / female polarity. WHAT DO WICCANS BELIEVE IN ?
There are no laws, no book that tells Wiccans how to worship and what to believe. That means, that they don't believe exactly the same things. Most of them believe in a God and a Goddess that exist in all living things, plants, animals and human beings. That means they treat all living things as divine. You could say that they worship a creative force personified by the God and Goddess. There are groups who worship only the Goddess, to get away from the patriarchal traditions of other religions, both are important, because there are both masculine and feminine aspects of every human being. The God and Goddess represent the duality of life.
WICCAN / WITCHCRAFT TRADITIONS
ALEXANDRIAN TRADITION: Originated in England in the 1960's, by Alex Sanders. The rituals are said to be of modified Gardenarian. Alex Sanders refered to himself as the "King" of his Witches. BRITISH TRADITIONAL WITCH: This is a mix of Celtic and Gardenarian beliefs. These traditionals move mostly within the Farrar studies and are fairly structured in their beliefs. They train through a degree structured process. The International Red Garters is the most famous organization at this time. CELTIC WICCA: This is a mix using Celtic/Druidic pantheon, stressing on the elements, nature and the Ancient Ones.Maintaining respect for the healing and magickal qualities of plants, flowers, trees, stones, elemental spirits, the little people,gnomes and faeries. CALEDONII TRADITION: Also known as the Hecatine Tradition. This is of Scottish in origin and still preserves the unique festivals of the Scottish. CEREMONIAL WITCHCRAFT: This tradition still uses a great deal of ceremonial magick. Detailed rituals of Egyptian nd/or Qabbalistic Magick. DIANIC TRADITION: The WitchCult in Western Europe, tracked back to Margaret Murray in 1921. This tradition has been pegged as the "feminist" movement of the Craft. It is a mix of many traditions, but its focus as recent is on the Goddess. ECLECTIC WITCH: This is where a person doesn't follow any particular tradition or magickal practice. They learn and study from a multitude of magickal systems and apply what appears to work best for them. GARDNERIAN TRADITION: This originated in England, by Gerald Gardner in the 1950's. Gerald Gardner, was one of very few people determined that the Old Religion should not die that he publicized it through the media. HEREDITARY WITCH: This is a person that can trace the Craft back on their family tree and was also taught the craft by a living relative. KITCHEN WITCH: This type is one that practices by home and hearth concentrating on the practical side of religion,magick and the earth and elements. PICTISH WITCHCRAFT: Origin Scottish, it attuns to all aspects of nature. Such as animal, vegetable and mineral. It is mainly magickal in nature with little religion. Generally practiced as a solitary form. POW-WOW: This is a system, not a religion based on 400 year old German Magick. In this day and time it has lost much of its concentrations and is basically now into simple faith healing. SATANIC WITCH: One can not be a satanic Witch because Witches do not believe in Satan. SEAX-WICA: Founded in 1973, by Raymond Buckland. Raymond Buckland, authored this tradition without breaking his original Gardnerian oath. His contributions to the Craft is of great significance. He developed a tradition and authored many textbooks on different magickal aspects and practices of the Craft, thereby enhancing many lives in a positive direction. SOLITARY WITCH: One who practices alone, in the tradition of their choice. STREGA WITCHES: This tradition began around 1353 in Italy, with a woman called Aradia. The teachings are beautiful and should not be missed. TEUTONIC WITCH: This is from ancient time, the Teutons have been recognized as a group who speak the Germanic group of languages. The lanugages include the English, Dutch, Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish peoples. Also known as the Nordic Tradition.
WITCHING HOUR
The witching hour is the hour of midnight on a full moon. It is at this time that the witches spell casting powers are at their fullest. It is a time of change and transformation. The history of this may be traced to the ancient times of the worship of Goddesses associated with the moon and fertility. As the moon waxes in its phases so do the powers of those, until they culminate at the full moon.
CHARMS TO WARD OF GHOSTS
Crossing oneself is a common charm to ward off ghosts and demons. Salt carried in the pocket or thrown across a threshold will keep ghosts,evilspirits and witches at bay. An iron rod placed on a grave will prevent a ghost from rising from the grave. An iron horseshoe above a doorway will prevent a ghost from entering.
THE IDEAL HOME
HALLWAY -Using Green in a hallway gives a welcoming impression to your guests. KITCHEN -Yellow is the way to go in the kitchen. It gives a happy & constructive atmosphere & inspires you tocreate. LOUNGE -Again, Yellow is a good choice here as it creates a happy atmosphere. DINING ROOM - Using Orange in this room will help your guests to relax & be more communicative with one another. BATHROOM - Turquoise is good for the bathroom. Adding blue will induce a peaceful atmosphere. BEDROOM -An Indigo bedroom will be beneficial to a good nights sleep. OFFICE -If you have a home-office, then Yellow will aid efficiency. Add a touch of blue to the room to keep you calm in a crisis.
MAGIC DIARY
Awaken the magic. To help you awaken your inner magic you can cast this easy spell. Start by gathering together the following items: an empty notebook( you will call this your Magical Diary) and a blue pen Then, on the day or evening of the moon (Monday) take a bath or shower first to help cleanse and purify your aura and after you get dressed in some clean comfortable clothes, find a quiet place in your home where you can be undisturbed for at least half an hour and place the notebook and pen onto a table or a flat surface and sit down nearby. Close your eyes for a few moments while you take deep relaxing breaths and imagine that you feel and see a white light surrounding you and peace and happiness. Next, open your eyes and then open the first page of the notebook and with your pen draw the shape of a square or rectangle on the page and look into the square while you imagine that this is a doorwayand it is openingup and you are stepping through the door.Let yourself relax and feel happy and uplifted as you imagine that your mind is stepping through that doorway into a sunny garden that is full of your favorite plants and flowers, (you may even see some fairies and unicorns there too) and let yourself stay in that enchanted place and have fun imagining for a while as you say these words,"To the left and right of me, Above and below me, I awaken the spirit of nature and magic within me."When you feel you are ready, let your mind come back through the door and close the notebook and say "I am a wonderful child of the Universe, and so will it be." When you finished your spell, you can write the words, My Magical Diary, or whatever words you like on the front cover and keep this book as your enchanted workbook for spells and wishes.

ASTRAL BODY
The astral body is a spiritual life force that's sometimes able to separate from and return to the corporeal, living body. Some paranormal experts use the term synonymously with the soul; others think of them as two distinct entities. An out-of-body experience (OBE), or astral projection, is a paranormal phenomenon in which a spirit double (or astral body) leaves the body and travels to another location.
WHERE DOES THE NAME OUIJA BOARD ORIGINATE ?
The name Ouija, comes from the french word 'oui' meaning 'Yes' & the German word 'ja', which means yes as well! So, the Ouija board is a yes-yes board!
THE EVIL EYE
The eyes are often referred to as 'the gateway to the soul'. It is understandable then why the evil eye is one of the oldest and most culturally prevalent magical beliefs in the world. The evil eye is the belief that a person can bring misfortune to another human or animal by giving them a jealous stare or envious glance. The results of the evil eye may manifest themselves in numerous forms: a sudden illness, a lover or spouse leaves, to name a couple. It is believed that most people who hold the power to cast the evil eye are completely ignorant of it and Since it is caused involuntarily, no one can be certain from who or where the evil came this makes the evil eye one of the most feared of all magical powers. A quick fix to rid oneself of the evil eye is when you feel someone is secretly wishing you bad luck, spit in their direction three times.
FIND YOUR MAGIC WORD
Take a dictionary & place it in your lap Close your eyes & move the dictionary around so that it may be upside down, sideways or facing up! Move it around until you feel the needto stop, you should not know which way it is facing! Keeping your eyes closed all the while, open the book & flick though it until you get the urge to stop at a particular page, let your finger roam about the page until again you get the felling that you should stop. The word that is directly under your finger is your own exclusive Magic Word! Say your magic word several times every morning upon wakening & you will set up positive vibrations for the day ahead. Also, before playing any games of chance, repeat your word over & over again ( doesn't have to be out loud!), the results may surprise you!
SEVENTH CHILD

HOW TO CHARGE AN ITEM TO BE USED FOR MAGIC
After you have consecrated or purified an item to be used for a magickal purpose, then it is better to " Charge " it, as this increases the effectiveness & power of the item. HOW TO PURIFY ITEMS FOR USE IN MAGICAL PURPOSES Written by Mystikia
Some people call this " consecrating ", some call it " purifying " & some call it " cleansing ". It is always better to do this to get rid of any influences from others that the item may be holding, as we all leave energies on everything that we touch! Also, never let any other person handle any items you have designated for magical purposes, if they do, then purify the items again! I will describe here the method for purification that I recommend, as it is relatively straight forward. You will need - a White candle, incense ( myrrh or patchouli ), a bowl of water & a bowl of salt. Method - Light the candle & the incense. Cover the item that you wish to purify in the salt & place your right hand over the bowl ( use your left if you're left-handed ) & imagine a white light emanating from your palm & passing through the bowl, eliminating all the negative energies as it passes through. Now say out loud : " Blessed Lord & Lady, with fire, water, salt & smoke, I consecrate this in thy name, let it serve me well. " Now, remove the item from the salt & shake off all the grains of salt from it. Pass the item through the incense smoke, sprinkle it with water, then pass it through the flame of the candle. Your item is now ready to be used for magical purposes.

To avoid illness eat lots of garlic. it contains a chemical called allicin that kills bugs even if they are resistant to antibiotics. garlic is our hope against the tough new resistant strains of bacteria

The Five Elements ( Air, Fire, Water, Earth & Spirit ), are the main basis for rituals & spell-craft. In Witchcraft, this system is used in many ways, in Meditation & attuning to the spiritual, as well as in spell casting. The Elements are used in spell-craft to represent the intentions of the spell which is being cast. The five Elements make up all life, & rule over the different aspects of our being. They provide appropriate symbols for the spell- caster to attune to.
AIR
The first element is " Air ". It is first as it represents our first breath in this physical realm. Air is associated with Communications in all it's forms, spoken, written, electronic & by any other means that you can think of! It also represents thought, learning, ideas, travel, business, legal matters & exams.
FIRE
The Sun represents the Element of " Fire ", as we receive heat, light & energy from the sun. Fire is associated with energy, inspiration, action, creativity & matters of well-being. Fire is also used to purify & sterilize!
WATER
Water is present in our physical bodies as well as in the world at large. Water is closely associated with the Moon & her cycle as it is the Moon that controls the tides as well as being widely regarded as also affecting the Water within our bodies, & therefore is believed to have great influence on our life. In Spell work, the Element of Water is associated with emotions, healing, fertility & love.
EARTH
The very planet that we live on consists of Earth, & within our bodies, it is present in the Minerals that we need to receive in order to thrive, as well as in our teeth & bones. The Element of Earth is associated with material needs, prosperity & wealth, growth, protection, stability & health.
SPIRIT
Spirit is not present in a physical sense, but though it may be indefinable physically, it is spirit that unites all the Elements & gives them their shape & very form. The Element of " Spirit " is commonly thought as & referred to as " The Web ". This description is in representation of the cycles, connections & even the coincidences that mould & shape our very life's. Spirit spells are usually used for promoting spiritual growth & spells that involve a transformation of some kind.
DO THEY LOVE ME
To determine whether someone loves you, eat an apple to the core until you find a seed. Remove the seed and name it by the same name as the one you love. With a pin, inscribe the name of the one you love on a candle. Light the candle and leave it to burn for a few moments before dropping the seed into the candle flame.
