To make the incense recipes you'll find on this page, you must grind all the ingredients finely ( to a powder, if you can ), using either a Pestle and Mortar, or an Electric Grinder. While you are doing this, be ever mindful of the incense's intent. (will it be used in a love spell...is it to aid healing, etc. ).You may even chant while you make the incense if you prefer. Add any oils or liquids lastly to the mixture. You may store home-made incense in jar's with tight fitting lids, and they'll keep for a few months. If you do decide to store any incense, remember to label the jar with the name of the incense and the date it was made! To burn the incense, you will need to use a small piece of charcoal. Please buy the charcoal specially intended for this use, and not the stuff intended for barbeques! You will find charcoal blocks in most metaphysical stores! The charcoal should be placed in a fireproof container filled part-way with sand for insulation (the charcoal can get very hot, so therefore can produce a lot of heat ). Once the charcoal is glowing, sprinkle a small amount of incense onto it.
ABRAMELIN INCENSE
2 Parts Myrrh, 1 Part Wood Aloe and a few drops of Cinnamon Oil. This incense is for burning when you want to contact spirits during rituals. This incense is also commonly used to consecrate space, altar and magickal tools.
