Make a poppet of yourself out of cloth. Mark symbols or words on it that indicates what you want to be free from. Allow anger to build within you that you have practiced this unwanted behavior for so long. Call upon Pluto or Hecate to assist your resolve to fully carry out changes in your life. Then, using a fire-safe container, anoint the poppet with a few drops of oil of myrrh, pennyroyal, rosemary, or rue, and then carefully set it on fire, visualizing the release of your unwanted habit or trait forever. Burn the poppet to ashes, and then take the ashes to a place where you have no need to be at any time soon. Bury it, turn firmly, and walk away. Don't look Back!
FIRE ANTI ADDICTION SPELL
Make an image that represents the disease, problem or addiction, in a material that can burn. ( a piece of paper with alcoholism, smoking or whatever written on it is good enough! ) Burn this image inside a circle of white candles, invoking any Deities you think appropiate. Say the follwing as you burn the image / paper - "By ( say the name of the Deity you think appropiate ) I destroy you. By ( say Deity's name ) I am healed." .
PURIFICATION
Take a symbols of the problem ( for smoking you could use a cigarette! ) & throw them onto a raging fire. The fire will consume the symbols & so it consume the power they had over you. For problems which utilize no concrete objects, draw a symbol or image & burn.
ANTI SMOKING SPELL
This spell is to be done during the WANING MOON. You will need - Green food colouring, bottle of Ginger ale. During the Waning Moon, add 3 drops of green food colouring to a bottle of ginger ale. Recap it securely, put the bottle beneath the lunar beams and say - " Smoking is not a part of me, when the moon is dark, I will be freed." From that night, until the new moon, drink a little of the ginger ale every day, focusing on your intention to change. ( this spell works well with other bad habits! Just exchange the word "Smoking" for the name of your habit! )
AMULET FOR EXTRA STRENGTH IN OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS
Find a representation of the addiction that is fully crushable. Completely crush the token beneath your feet. As you do, Shout - " ( shout name of addiction ) Has no dominion over me." Feel yourself stomping that pattern out of your life. Continue until you feel drained, calm & centered. Gather the remnants and mix them with pine needles & lemon rind. Cautiously place this blend in a portable container. Each time you feel tempted to slip back into old tendencies, (like smoking) carefully sprinkle a pinch of the mixture on the ground behind you & walk firmly away, repeat the phrase to reactivate the Magick.
TO BREAK BAD HABITS
This spell has to be performed on a Rainy day! With water colours or chalk, draw or write the bad habit on a piece of paper. Immediately take it out into the rain. Let the rain dissolve and disperse the water colors or chalk. So shall your habit dissolve, cleansed by the sanctifying rain
